Ultimate Motorsport Chase More Points on Overseas Debut
TEAM NEWS: The Ultimate Motorsport team are relishing the chance to secure more points in their Lloyds TSB Insurance British F3 International Series season with a strong performance on the streets of Bucharest this weekend.  The team, who scored points in only their second ever race weekend last month at Donington, are confident their strong form will continue on the new Romanian street circuit, which is making its debut on the calendar this year.  And after seeing both the team and their chassis partners Mygale make steps forward with some hard work at their respective factories over the last month, Team Principal Barry Walsh is looking forward to getting back on track for the team's overseas debut.  Walsh said: "We are all really looking forward to this event. It will be great to get back into the mix and build on our successful outing at Donington last month and this circuit is going to be an exiting place to have our first ever overseas race.  "Since the last race the team have been working extremely hard to develop the car using the data we obtained in the first two races. Mygale have also been working hard to bring through new parts and it will be interesting to see where we are here.  "We are progressing further forwards every day but this will be an unusual event because street circuits present a very different challenge. It will be unpredictable but, as always, we will be aiming to maximise our opportunities and score more points."  Drivers Esteban Guerrieri, of Argentina, and Irishman Michael Devaney have been hard at work with team fitness instructor Mark Phillips and that could pay dividends in the high temperatures expected in Bucharest. Guerrieri said: "We had a great result at the last race and we are looking to build on that in Bucharest. It will be a new track for everyone and it will be hot so it will be important to acclimatise to the temperatures and learn the layout well before the first session.  "The Mygale car is very good at responding to change so I am confident we will be able to quickly develop a good set up. If we manage to achieve that then we will have a good chance of continuing our strong performance once again this weekend."  Devaney added: "It was a great feeling to get our first points at the last race and we must now keep the pressure on and keep aiming higher and higher. This race, being on a street circuit, will be an interesting one and there will certainly be a few different challenges.  "Being the first of three races abroad this season will also make things a little different but we are already a well honed team and I am sure we will soon make Bucharest a home away from home, which will be an important factor at this event."  Ends
