2007 British F3 championship runner up Maro Engel will be testing for GP2 front runners FMSI (Fisichella Motorsport International) at Paul Ricard on Wednesday 31st October and again on the 2nd November. The young German, who won three races this season with Carlin Motorsport, is relishing the opportunity to step up to the next category on his way to Formula One.
"I am happy to have been given the chance to test the GP2 car at Paul Ricard by FMSI and look forward to measuring myself against the experienced GP2 driver," said Engel. "Surely I will be on a steep learning curve but I look forward to the challenge. The GP2 series is clearly one of the series I am looking at for next year."
