New Zealander Brandon Hartley topped the test times on the opening of the second official British F3 2-day test at Snetterton today. The Red Bull sponsored Carlin driver posted a time of 1m01.298s, well inside Stephen Jelleys current lap record of 1m01.995s and 0.01 ahead of reigning British F3 National Class Champion Sergio Perez in the Mugen Honda powered T-Sport Dallara.
The Hitech pairing of Max Chilton and Walter Grubmuller continued their excellent testing form, posting the 3rd and 4th fastest times respectively.
Andy Meyrick led the way in the National Class finishing 7th overall at the end of day one but for most of the morning he topped the time sheets in his Carlin Dallara F305.
