Niall Quinn Steps up to British F3 with Team Loctite
Ireland with have two repsentatives on the British F3 grid this weekend at Oulton Park with the confirmation that Formula BMW Germany graduate Niall Quinn with be racing in the National Class with championship returnees Team Loctite. Ultimate Motorsports Michael Devaney is the other Irish driver, competing in the International Class in the Mercedes powered Mygale chassis.
The 19-year-old from Co Meath has also been competing in A1GP for his country and was named the A1GP Team Ireland Rookie Driver of the Year in 2007.
Quinn's entry now brings the grid for this weekend's season opener at Oulton Park in Cheshire to 27 cars, with 9 competing in the National Class. The first race takes place on Monday 24 March with the second race in the afternoon on the same day.
