Steven Guerrero Seriously Hurt in Motorcycle Accident

2008 British F3 International Series National Class Vice Champion Steven Guerrero was involved in a motorcycle accident on Thursday evening in his native Columbia which has left the 19-year-old T Sport driver in a critical condition.

The accident involving the double race winner was reported to be with a truck while he was out riding on his motorbike north of the Columbian capital city Bogota which resulted in head injuries that needed surgery. The were no complications during surgery but the latest news is Steven remains in a critical condition.

T Sport Team Princiipal Russell Eacott issued a statement: “Last night we heard the distressing news from Colombia that one of our drivers, Steven Guerrero, had been involved in a road traffic accident. Having spoken to the Guerrero family I know that Steven is receiving the best possible medical attention and my thoughts and prayers, and those of the entire team at T-Sport, are with him and his family at this difficult time.”
